Hi, I’m Ainslie! 

I’m the face behind Hark Creative Co and the person that you’re entrusting your branding to. So here’s a little bit about me.

I’m a maker. My favourite thing is to take something ordinary and make it beautiful and meaningful, so graphic and web design is my dream job!

I started Hark Creative Co because I love small businesses, and I’m passionate about making sure their voice is heard. From the local makers, the creatives and the mums who’re finding the time to put into their passions after quitting their 9-5 jobs, it all excites me. I love being a part of the journey of people starting something new. I still pinch myself knowing that I get to use my skills to help bring to life what has often been a life-long dream for people.

I started doing graphic design long before I had even heard of the Adobe Suite; I loved designing flyers and graphics for my church and making videos for my band. When I got my first job as a designer, I thought I was going to an interview for an administration job at a marketing agency but when I arrived, was given an iMac and told to design a custom envelope for a small children’s book being distributed at Christmas time. I quickly learned the ropes under the guidance of a fantastic and well accomplished head designer, and worked on some amazing projects through that agency. I then moved on to become the in-house designer and marketing coordinator for a large disability support NFP, and enjoyed getting to integrate my love for photography, design and education into this role.

Fast forward to now, I love freelancing from home in the beautiful Southern Highlands NSW where I can enjoy raising my son, and take on many wonderful clients who trust me with their branding and websites. I look forward to giving your brand the attention that it deserves.
